Centenary celebrations of late M.V. Seetharamaiah


Late Prof. M.V. Seetharamaiah, born on 10th Sept. 1910 was an erudite scholar in all facets of Kannada literature and fine arts.  With over 100 publications & many literary/scholastic contributions to Kannada literature, he occupied a place of pride till his death in 1990.  The last decades of his life were devoted in building an institution for research in manuscriptology & preservation of old manuscripts in memory of his esteemed teacher Sri. B.M. Srikantaiah.  B.M.Sri memorial foundation, located in N.R. Colony, Bangalore, now 25 years old, has become an unique institution furthering the above objectives and guiding students for higher studies in Kannada literature.
Students & well wishers of late Sri.
